NEET 2018 OMR Sheet Display

The first thing that happens after NEET 2018 Exam is the display of the OMR Sheet by CBSE. The board releases the OMR sheet of each candidate on the official website. This will be done so that the candidates can send representation against it.

What After NEET 2018? Know All Important Things

The OMR Sheets of NEET 2018 are machine graded. If a candidate of NEET 2018 feels that the answers are different from what they had chosen in the exam, they can challenge the CBSE for the same. To do that, the candidate has to pay a fee of Rs 1000 per response.

NEET 2018 Answer Key

After the NEET 2018 OMR Sheet has been declared, the next step which will be performed is the release of Answer Key. The answer key of NEET 2018 will be released by CBSE only on their official website. The first answer key which is released is the model answer key.

The candidates who have given the NEET 2018 exam are only eligible to challenge the answer key. The challenge has to be done online. A fee of Rs 1000 per answer has to be paid by the candidate to challenge the answer key. The fee is non-refundable.

How will it work?

For every challenge the Board receives, it will consult the subject experts for its genuineness. If the challenge is found correct, the answer key will be updated accordingly and the final answer key will be updated accordingly. The final answer key which is prepared will be the final answer key. No requests for the answer key evaluation will be entertained after this.

Note:  It should be kept in mind that for any of the processes above if a candidate wants to take action, it has to be done within the deadlines. Anything which is done after the deadline will not be accepted by the Board.

NEET 2018 Result Declaration

After the above-mentioned process has been conducted,  the NEET 2018 Result will be declared on June 05, 2018. It will be available on the official website of CBSE. A merit list will be prepared according to the rank obtained by the candidate.

What After NEET 2018? Know All Important Things

Aspirants can download the result sheet which will be put on the official website. After the result is declared, no re-evaluation of the mark sheets shall be done by the Board. Candidates will be called for counselling rounds based on the rank obtained by them in the merit list.

NEET 2018 Counselling Rounds

The NEET 2018 Counselling rounds will be conducted for those students who have cleared the cutoff and secured a place in the merit list. The counselling will be conducted online. 15% of all the seats come under All India Quota. Rest 85% of the seats come under state quota. Candidates will have to register themselves on the counselling portal, fill the choices and then do the final locking of their choices.

Who conducts the NEET 2018 Counselling?

The counselling for 15% of the seats which are under All India Quota is conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). This counselling is for admissions to All India Quota, Central Institutions including AFMC, ESI, BHU, AMU and Deemed Universities.

The rest of the seats come under the state quota. It is for admissions to the medical colleges of different states. Separate counselling process will be conducted by them. The counselling authorities will draw merit list of the candidates in the respective categories declared by the candidates at the time of applying for counselling.

Counselling for Private Medical Colleges, except Deemed will be with the respective State
