Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) result today, June 04. Candidates can check their scores on the official website. NEET 2018 was conducted on May 06, 2018.

Aarosh Dhamija from Delhi obtained All India Rank 4 in NEET UG 2018 with 99.99 percentile. He secured 686 marks out of 720. AIR 1 was obtained by Kalpana Kumari from Bihar with 99.99 percentile. She secured 691 marks out of 720. Kalpana secured 360 out 3060 in Biology & Zoology.

To check NEET UG 2018 result visit the official website of CBSE, www.cbseneet .nic.in. Select NEET UG – 2018 Result under online service. Enter the Roll Number and Date of Birth. Click submit button. NEET 2018 score will appear.

According to the report 13,26,725 registered for the NEET 2018. Compare to last year the registration of the candidate increased by 16.49%. The percentage of candidates appeared in the exam was 95.71% i.e, 12,69,922  of the total. The exam was conducted in 136 cities across India. The exam was conducted in 11 languages. The total number of centres arranged for the exam was 2255.

Out of 13,26,725 registered candidates, the number of male candidates is 5,80,649. The number of female candidates is 7,46,075. Out of total candidate, there was only one transgender candidate. The total number of qualified candidate is 7,14,562 out of which 3,12,399 are male, 4,02,162 female and 1 transgender respectively. The number of qualified female candidate is more than the male candidate.

According to minimum qualifying criteria of NEET UG 2018, the total number of qualified candidate is 7,14, 562. The qualifying marks range for Other category candidate is 691 -119 whereas 119-96 for reserved category candidates. For reserved & PH candidate marks range is 106-96.

According to state wise, the maximum number of candidate qualified is from Uttar Pradesh. The total number of candidate qualified is 76,778.

Now the last phase is NEET UG 2018 counselling, which will commence soon. The counselling will be conducted by Medical Counselling Committee(MCC). The counselling will be done online. The students qualified in the NEET 2018 and those who had selected ALL India Quota seats while filling the application form will be eligible for the counselling.

The qualifying candidate has to register for the counselling process. While registering the candidate has to submit their choices. Any modification regarding the choice can be done before the last date. The result for the first round of counselling will be available on MCC’s website. The counselling will be conducted in two round.

Candidate should carry all the important required documents to the allotted institute. Following are the documents that are to be carried, NEET 2018 Admit Card, Result / Rank letter issued by CBSE, Birth certificate, Class 10th certificate, Class 12th certificate and mark sheet, 8 passport size photograph as affix on the application form, Provisional allotment letter, Id proof, Category certificate and PwD certificate (if applicable).

NEET UG 2018 was conducted for admission to MBBS / BDS courses in India in MEdical / Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India in  Medical / Dental College.
