Finally on September 8, 2018, National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced NEET PG Exam Date 2019. Now all candidates who are preparing to sit for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test can note that NEET PG Exam Date 2019 is January 6, 2019. It is exactly as was predicted. Last year also exam was on single day single session on first Sunday in Janury. This year also the national level medical entrance exam will be on the first Sunday in January. It will be a single day single session exam only.

Through a public notification, NBE has published exam date of NEET PG 2019. Candidates can read the complete notice here.
Now candidates can start preparing and revising for exam with this date in mind. From the date of announcement of NEET PG exam date 2019, to date of exam, there are 4 months (08 Sep 2018 to 06 Jan 2019). So a 4-month study plan should be implemented.

Earlier NEET PG was held over a several days window. Then, there were some controversies surrounding the exam. Following that, it was decided that from 2018 onwards, all NBE exams be held in a single session.
About NEET PG 2019
NEET PG 2019 is the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test which is conducted by NBE for the purpose of determining eligibility and ranking for admission to PG medical programs. All medical colleges in India use NEET PG ranking only to offer admission to MD / MS / PG Diploma programs. It is therefore a crucial exam for all PG medical aspirants in India.
NEET PG 2019 is the single national level medical entrance exam.
To make it simpler for candidates to seek admission in MD, MS, PG Diploma programs, a single national level entrance exam is conducted. The onus of holding this exam is given to National Board of Examinations that also conducts various other Post MBBS and Post PG level entrance exams for medical fraternity.
