What is the eligibility criteria for NEET PG 2019?
The candidates who are preparing for NEET PG 2019 must know what eligibility criteria are there for them. They should apply for the exam only after checking the criteria. We are providing all the criteria of NEET PG 2018. They can expect it to remain same this year as well. Have a look.
- Those candidates who are in possession of MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate which is recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 will be eligible to appear for the exam. They must also possess permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council .
- Candidate should also have completed the one-year necessary internship. If the candidate is completing their internship on or before 31 March 2018, then they are also eligible to apply for the NEET PG Exam.
NEET PG 2019 exam can also be given by those candidates who are not from India i.e the foreign nationals who want to study post graduation in India can also apply for this. They will have to check some eligibility criteria which has been set for them.

- For the foreign nationals, it is not compulsory to have temporary registration with MCI at
the time of writing NEET-PG. Foreign Nationals can write NEET-PG without MCI
registration also. The Medical Council of India may, on payment of the prescribed fee for
registration, grant temporary registration for the duration of the Post Graduate course
limited to the medical college/institution to which he/she is admitted for the time
being exclusively for pursuing postgraduate studies.
- For the above provision, it is required that the candidate is duly registered with appropriate registering authority from the country in which the aspirant has completed their basic Medical qualification, and is duly recognized by the corresponding Medical Council or concerned authority.
