Candidates should note that you may appear for NEET PG 2018 but to take admission into PG colleges, you need to ensure to check the eligibility criteria of such colleges. The basic criteria of eligibility to register for NEET is that the candidate must have completed MBBS and one year internship. However, every college has different age limit criteria for admitting students to PG. Candidates will get admission to the colleges through NEET PG score and by fulfilling the eligibility criteria as specified by the respective college.

Likewise, age limit is not set for other PG medical entrance exams like AIIMS PG, or JIPMER PG, PGIMER. There is one date that needs to be kept in mind, that for completing internship. Candidate must complete one year internship before 31 March 2018 in order to be eligible for NEET PG 2018. By internship we refer to Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship. Also, before starting MD / MS / PG Diploma studies, must have MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate. MCI sets cut off dates for recognition of Medical Colleges, from where candidates have passed MBBS Degree Course and completed compulsory rotatory Internship.
There is no age limit. Instead there are few colleges or universities which impose eligibility on already pursuing PG. According to that, if one is pursuing any PG Course in their or in another University, then that person is not eligible for admission until course completes. Hence, if you are already pursuing PG Courses either through All India Quota or State Quota and are applying for a seat under All India Quota/State quota seats then confirm eligibility conditions of University in this regard.
