NEET MDS 2018 is the national level entrance exam for MDS admissions conducted by NBE. NEET MDS 2018 Result is declared on January 25, 2018. Candidates who have appeared in the exam can check result and download scorecard. Those who qualify can then attend counseling. The exam is held annually in online mode. The candidates are required to attempt a total of 300 questions which are of graduate level. These questions are MCQ based. You get only 3 hours and 30 minutes to write the exam. 4 marks are awarded for the correct answer and 1 mark negative marking is there for selecting incorrect answers.

The candidates who possess their bachelor’s degree in BDS and have completed a year’s internship from a recognised institute can apply. Apart from that, please also note that this will be the selection criteria. Merit lists will be prepared to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. NBE is responsible to only conduct the exam and declare results.
According to the events, the candidates are required to submit a 6 staged online application form within the dates prescribed. All the information entered should be correct. And as part of application process, there is requirement to provide personal details, correspondence details, educational details, uploading documents, selecting choice of city for test and paying the fees etc. General candidates are required to pay Rs. 3750/- and SC/ ST/ PWD (PH)- have to pay Rs. 2750/-. This amount can be paid using Credit card/ Debit card/ Net banking.
NEET MDS 2018 Result
The results of the online based test is announced by NBE at its official website. The NBE is responsible only till announcing the results/ allotting ranks to MoHFW. Counselling is not held by NBE. NEET MDS result will be declared in form of a merit list. The entrance exam shall be the only criteria for selection. The result declaration will include the admission for
- 50% All India Quota seats
- State Quota seats for all States/ UT on india
- Postgraduate MDS courses offered at all Private Dental colleges/ institutes and indian universities
- MDS offered at Armed forces medical services institutions

NEET MDS 2018: Eligibility Criteria
A candidate who has acquired a BDS degree/ Provisional BDS pass certificate from a recognized Dental college/ institute (recognised by IDCA) and have completed 1 year of internship or will be completing their internship on or before 31st March 2018 can apply for the courses. Before applying, also ensure that you have the recognised BDS degree. You should read FAQs before proceeding.
NEET MDS 2018: Application Form
Applications are being accepted ONLINE ONLY now. Any other means used to submit the form will not be accepted. You are required to provide- personal details, qualification details, selecting test city, paying the fees, uploading documents et. Please check that the entries you make are correct in all orders. The candidates are advised to either visit the official website at nbe.edu.in or click the link which has been inserted above. You can get registered till 27 November till 11:59 pm. Upon doing so, collect your login credentials.
Login again and fill the form. An important part of application form filling is uploading the documents within a specified format.

Selection of cities
The selection of city will be based on the first come basis. As the seats gets filled in a particular city, the name of the cities where the seats are yet to be filled will appear. However, final decision rests with the NBE. Seat allotment in a specific city shall be decided by NBE, which will be informed to you 4 days before the examination. Any request to change the test centre will not be entertained.
NEET MDS Application Fees
In order to complete the form, the candidates need to pay the application charges. The amount that the candidates are required to pay depending upon their category is as follows:-

The syllabus of NEET MDS 2018 shall be that of graduation level. You can expected questions from what was taught to you at BDS level as prescribed by the DCI revised BDS course Regulations, 2007 amended from time time.
You should be available at the test center by 01:00 pm. You will be required to undergo security checks, identity verification and check-in process. The counter for reporting will close 30 minutes prior the exam has to commence. i.e the counter will close by 02:30 pm. Later arrivers will not be allowed to take the exam.
Things to carry at the test centre
- Printed copy of the Admit Card with photo pasted on it.
- Photocopy of the Permanent or Provisional SDC/DCI registration to be retained by the test centre and,
- A photo IDs- PAN Card, Driving License Voter ID, Passport and Aadhaar Card (with photograph)
NEET MDS 2018 Admit Card
Admit cards of the successfully registered candidates will be sent to them on the email id that they are providing with the application form. You will get an intimation note regarding the admit card availability through sms medium. After you download the admit card, you will need to paste an identical photo that you upload in the form filling procedure. Admit card will not be sent by post. The photograph to be pasted should be 35×45 mm with at least 75% coverage of the face. It should have a caption containing your name and date of photo captured. The admit card will have the exact address of the venue.
