NEET MDS 2018 Result has been declared by NBE. Also it has been revised on 24th March 2018. Candidates can log in with roll number and date of birth to check their result. The scorecard can be downloaded from natboard.edu.in. Also, all India 50% quota merit list releases at nbe.edu.in. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for MDS admissions was held successfully for BDS degree holders who aspire to study Master of Dental Surgery (MDS). All those who appeared in the exam can check result, download scorecard, view merit list, and know whether they have qualified for counselling. If yes, then they can participate in counselling for admission to dental colleges.

The result is announced online only. The exam conducting body National Board of Examinations does not send NEET MDS 2018 Result by email or SMS. Dates given below are relevant to National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for MDS.

233 149 for general candidates, 204 115 for SC / ST / OBC, and 219 133 for UR-PH.

Validity of NEET MDS 2018 Result
NEET MDS 2018 result is valid only for current academic session 2018-19.
NEET MDS 2018 Result: Cut Off
If you have appeared in NEET MDS 2018, then in order to be eligible for MDS admission you need a qualifying cut off score. The percentile cut off is as follows.
- General candidates:

What this means
The percentile cut off works like this: The board arranges candidates in order of merit. Then each candidate gets a percentile based on how many candidates have scored less than him or her. The marks a candidate at that percentile as given above becomes the cut off score for that category.

NEET MDS 2018 Merit List
National Board of Examinations publishes three separate types of merit lists. They are
- NEET MDS 2018 rank
This rank is the overall rank you have, among all the candidates who have appeared for NEET MDS 2018.
- NEET MDS 2018 All India 50% Quota Rank
This rank is the overall rank you have among those candidates who appeared for NEET MDS 2018 and are eligible for AIQ 50%. Its significance is only limited upto AIQ 50% quota seats admissions.
- NEET MDS 2018 All India 50% Quota Category Rank
This rank is the rank indicative of merit position in SC / ST / OBC merit list, if you are in any of these three categories. It is also valid only for AIQ 50% quota seats admissions.

NEET MDS 2018 Result for All India 50% Quota Seats
NBE declares result as per schedule. Candidates can download NEET MDS 2018 Result’s mark sheet cum result certificate for AIQ 50% quota seats, from nbe.edu.in after result.
Only those candidates who are eligible for admission through All India 50% quota seats will be able to participate in counselling for these seats. Eligibility criteria is as set by DGHS / MoHFW.
Candidates may note that one may qualify NEET MDS 2018 as per above cut off, but may not be in the list of candidates eligible for counselling for All 50% quota seats based on criteria laid down by MCC / DGHS / MoHFW. They will however be eligible for state quota seats as per state norms.
NEET MDS 2018 Result for State Quota Seats
No state can conduct its separate MDS entrance exam. They will all use NEET MDS 2018 result only for MDS admissions.
Once result is compiled, NBE sends result data to each state. Then it is up to that state to compile state merit list and publish them on their websites. States also invite candidates to apply for MDS admission 2018. Those who are eligible, are in merit list, and apply can participate in admission process.

NEET MDS 2018 Counselling
The process that follows result announcement, leading to MDS admissions, is the NEET MDS 2018 counselling. NBE shares result data with counselling authorities, and they (counselling authorities) conduct counselling thereafter. NBE does not conduct counselling.
Counselling for All India 50% quota seats: Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts counselling for admission to these seats. You can get its details at mcc.nic.in.
State quota seats: There is one designated counselling authority in each state which conducts counselling for MDS admissions. Depending upon which state you want admission in, and are also eligible for, check MDS admission details of that state.
Counselling for private dental colleges, institutes, universities, deemed universities: These institutes have their own designated authorities for admission. For admission to these institutes, candidate must fulfill their norms as well. Check respective institute website for counselling updates.
