Application Fee

  • Register by filling in basic details (name, names of parents, category, DOB, Aadhaar number, gender, nationality, email ID, mobile number).
  • Enter all details asked in the application form of NEET 2020. This includes personal details, educational details, communication details, test center preferences, and other examination preferences details. Also, upload photograph and signature in specified dimensions.

Photograph specifications important for NEET 2020 Application Form

Highlights of NEET 2020 Application Form

  • Candidates must exercise the option of question paper medium wisely as it cannot be changed later.
  • NTA will allot test center as per preferences filled by candidate in the application form of NEET 2020.
  • Those who belong to the creamy layer of OBC must select Unreserved.

What is the minimum percentage required to appear for NEET exam?

The minimum marks requirement for MBBS/BDS admission is to pass subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and obtain at least 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology. For SC, ST and OBC category marks requirement is 40%. For candidates with locomotor disability of lower limbs, a minimum of 45% marks for Gen-PH, 40% marks for SC-PH/ ST-PH/OBC-PH are required.

If I am pursuing class 12 exam in the year 2020, am I eligible to apply?

Yes, students who are appearing in the qualifying examination in 2020 can also appear in NTA NEET UG 2020. However, their admission will be subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria at the time of admission.

Can candidates older than 25 years of fill NEET 2020 application form?

Last year, the Age limit for NEET exam has been finalized. The age limit set for the NEET exam is removed. It means candidates 25 years or above can apply for the NEET 2020 entrance examination.

Are NRIs, OCI, PIO allowed to appear in NEET 2020?

Yes, Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRI’s), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI’s), Persons with Indian Origin (PIO’s) & Foreign Nationals are all eligible for NEET -2020.

      As per the eligibility criteria you can apply:

      Examination: a 12th class qualification or equivalent is essential.
      Subjects: Subjects studied at 12th class level should include Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Biotechnology with English.
      10+2 appearing- students going to appear in 12th are also eligible to apply.
      Marks Requirement: In the qualifying exam (PCB group), candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks for GEN, whereas for general-PH, the requirement is 45% marks while for SC/ST and OBC, the requirement is 40%.

  4. Choosing Bengali language shall I give xm in eng?cause of preparation done in eng..bt if this is possible then as a Bengali medium student it is too much helpful to attempt the paper in eng..is it complicated?

    • Candidates opting for vernacular (any language other than English) languages get a bilingual test booklet, so you will get questions in English as well as Bengali. I would suggest that you take a look at the past year english language question papers once and see if you can understand them, if you are okay with it, take English. If not take Bengali then you can get questions in both languages.

    • You can search “Compress JPEG Images Online”. You will see many websites.

      You can go to any of the websites. There you will have to upload image –> Define how much you want to compress it / quality –> Get it converted –> download it.

      No, you do not need to submit hard copy of the form anywhere. Pay fees and download confirmation page. You should keep confirmation page printout safely.

      You should pass physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology, english individually in qualifying exam. Also you should have at least 50% aggregate in PCB.

      The name of the candidate and date of clicking the photograph should be printed at the bottom of the photo. But as you have not done it you can correct it in the correction process which will supposed to be from 12th March 2018

      To make changes you need to wait till the correction process to start. As per the official information the correction process will start from 12th March 2018

      In the uploaded photograph, no change is allowed now by CBSE. The photograph without name and date of taking photograph will be accepted by the CBSE, if otherwise found correct.
