Last year, CBSE had released the omr sheet on May 25. Candidates were allowed to view and challenge it from May 25 to 27. This year it is expected that NEET 2019 OMR Sheet Display will be at a similar time.
NEET 2019 OMR Sheet Display Fee
There will not be any fee to view the NEET 2019 OMR sheet. However there is expected to be a fee associated with the OMR sheet challenge. Last year, the fee to challenge one question was Rs 1000.
It is expected that candidates will have to pay Rs 1000 per question to challenge.
How To Challenge NEET 2019 OMR Sheet?
Considering last year’s pattern, NEET 2019 OMR sheet will contain the responses marked by candidates appearing for the said exam. The answer key / OMR sheet display is in a scanned image format. Post the release of OMR sheet display of NEET 2019 such candidates get a window of 2-3 days so as to challenge the responses. Step 1: Visit the official website: nta.ac.in.
Step 2: Navigate to section ‘candidate login’. Here, enter login credentials: Registration No. and Password (same as in NEET 2019 application form).
Step 3: Upon entering the login credentials, candidates will go to their respective display of NEET 2019 OMR sheet.

Each candidate will get an individual OMR sheet on the day of NEET 2019 exam. Candidates are to fill in their name and other relevant details in the OMR sheet on the day of examination. How to challenge NEET 2019 OMR Sheet?
Once the candidates open their respective OMR sheet, they can see that this image will be carrying the same responses that they entered on the day of examination. They will have the provision to challenge the answer key / OMR sheet response of NEET 2019 who feel that their response is not same as in the image of the OMR response.
Who can challenge NEET 2019 OMR Sheet: Candidates who feel that any response has not been marked in the scanned copy of the displayed OMR sheet response or if they think that any response has been marked incorrectly as opposed to what a candidate marked in his/her original NEET 2019 OMR Answer Sheet.
Payment Amount: The likely fee amount, as per last year, is Rs 1000/- per response.

Window to Challenge the OMR Sheet Response: Each candidate who opts for NEET 2019 OMR Challenge, based on last year’s instructions, will be a period of 2-3 days.

Step 3: Candidates will be able to mark their responses that they want to challenge. Mark using checkboxes that appear on the screen. There will be one checkbox for “Captured Response as per OMR Sheet” and other for “Candidate’s Claim”. Under the “Candidate’s Claim” checkbox, candidates will be able to mark their applications for responses to challenge.
Step 4: After marking all challenges, they will have to click “Submit” and make the requisite fee payment.
Note: Candidates must understand that NTA will not inform individual candidates about the acceptance / non-acceptance of his / her challenge.
Important Instructions for NEET 2019 OMR Sheet on the Day of Examination
Here is a list of important instructions to keep in mind while filling NEET 2019 OMR answer sheet on the day of examination:
- NEET 2019 OMR Sheet / Answer sheet will be inside the sealed Test-Booklet that you get on the day of NEET 2019 exam. It is advisable for candidates not to open / break the seal before invigilator makes the announcement.
- As per last year’s pattern, NEET 2019 OMR sheet will have two sides- Side-1 and Side-2.
- Side-2 of each NEET OMR Sheet will have a pre-printed Test Booklet Code A, B, C, D, etc.
- Candidates must check that the Test Booklet Code on the Side-2 of the OMR Sheet is same as on the Test Booklet.
- Candidates must fill the NEET OMR Sheet very carefully as no candidate will get new NEET 2019 OMR Sheet.
What to Fill in NEET 2019 OMR Answer Sheet?
Foremost it is important to understand that NEET 2019 OMR sheet is to be filled in full circles, with verifiable and relevant details. All the 180 responses to the 180 questions, if we are to consider last year’s pattern, are to be circled correctly. Candidates will not have the provision to erase any circled answer on the OMR sheet.
