NEET 2018 Resignation
NEET 2018 Counselling for All India Quota seats(AIQ Counselling) is conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Only those students who opted for All India Quota Counselling during the application process and have the minimum or more than the minimum cutoff marks are eligible for this counselling. What is the NEET 2018 Resignation Process?
The students who have been allotted seats to all the Deemed/Central Universities and ESIC UG 2018 Round 1 Seat Allotment through NEET UG 2018 Counselling for All India Quota seats can now resign their allotted seats. This means that in case the student does not want to take admission to the allotted college, they can give up their seat for the subsequent rounds of Counselling. A notice in this regard has also been released.
How to resign from the seat?
NEET 2018 Resignation Process will be conducted in an online manner. The students who have been allotted the seat in the particular college and want to resign the seat will have to report to the particular college which they got in the allotment result process.
From that particular college, the student will be given a resignation receipt from the college. It is also known as seat surrender receipt. It is generated through an online counselling software.
The students have to visit that particular college to obtain the receipt. They have to ensure that they do this process before the last date. The last date to obtain the receipt for the surrender or the resignation is July 05, 2018 till 03:00 PM. After this date, no resignation of the seat will be allowed. Important Things to Note
There are some important things which the candidate must know regarding the NEET 2018 Resignation Process. This resignation process will be conducted online only. No offline process will be conducted. The students must ensure that they do this before the last date only because the request to get the seat resignation will not be entertained after the last date.
About NEET 2018 Counselling
NEET 2018 Counselling is conducted for those students who are NEET qualified. It means that the student must have scored the minimum cutoff percentile marks in the qualifying exam. The counselling is done under 15% All India Quota seats and the 85% State counselling seats. The counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats is done by Medical Councilling Committee (MCC) and for the rest it is done by the respective state counselling authorities.
