Preparation Strategy For NEET 2018
It is very well known that despite all its controversies, NEET is one of the most pivotal national entrance examinations. It is expected that about 12 lakh candidates will appear for NEET 2018. It is never enough to study or solve problems. You must prepare a strong strategical plan for this last month which can help you get a seat in one of the best medical colleges in India.
#1 Solve Previous Year Question Paper
This is one of the most important preparation tip which you might have seen at various other websites also. No preparation can be done without solving previous year question paper. You can start solving the latest paper first and then go backward i.e. attempt 2017 paper, followed by 2016, 2015 and so on. Since NEET exam pattern has been changing over the years, and the last five years’ papers will give you a good understanding of what to expect.
#2 Important Topics for NEET
Physics, the important topics to prepare are kinematics, electricity, and magnetism. For Chemistry it is Chemical bonding, coordination chemistry, and general organic chemistry. Finally, for Biology, it is Genetics and Evolution.
#3 Focus on all three subjects
Questions are more or less evenly spread over the two-year syllabus, so do not try to become perfect on a particular chapter, instead, you should be able to answer from ‘easy’ questions to ‘moderate or hard’ questions.
#4 Rely on NCERT Books
Do not pick up any other new books for preparation in this one month. NCERT books are your best pals for Biology revision. Do not mind those off-track tricky questions that are highlighted after NEET examinations, they constitute only a small percentage.
