NEET 2018 Paper Analysis of Chemistry

Chemistry has always an average level of difficulty. Well, CBSE has this habit of providing 7% ambiguous questions in NEET every year. Last year chemistry had one ambiguous question. In addition to that last year, clearly, more emphasis was laid on application-based questions in all the three subjects.

This year we have the following analysis for NEET 2018 Chemistry:

Percentage of Class 11 and Class 12 Questions: Out of 60 question in Chemistry section 20 question where from 11th standard whereas 20 questions from 11th standard syllabus. The question in chemistry sections was direct from NCERT books.

Difficulty Level of Chemistry Part: The difficulty level of Chemistry was overall moderate this year. According to the student’s question were from previous year and concept based. Chemistry section holds 20 moderate question where 24 question was of the easy level.

Maximum Questions: Maximum Questions were from Physical Chemistry.

NEET 2018 Paper Analysis of Chemistry by Aakash Institute

This section was moderate out of all the three. This section was not lengthy. There were 20 questions asked from the 12th standard syllabus and 20 questions from the 11th standard syllabus. This section had 1 difficult question, 20 moderate questions and 24 easy questions. Most questions were based on simple concepts.

NEET 2018 Paper Analysis of Chemistry by Resonance

Last Year in NEET, Chemistry was the easiest section as per the Resonance Experts. According to them, chemistry had only 3 difficult questions and 32 easy questions. Rest were moderate. Most of the questions were asked from Organic Chemistry. According to Resonance, there were 16 questions from class 11 and 29 questions from class 12.

NEET 2018 Paper Analysis of Chemistry by Allen Kota

As per the analysis is given by Allen Kota last year, in Chemistry 42% questions in chemistry were from class 11 and 58% of the questions were from class 12. Also, they said that most of the questions were average in difficulty level. Allen Kota emphasised that maximum questions were from Inorganic Chemistry.
