NEET 2018 Paper Analysis of Biology
As far as biology is concerned, in NEET there are two parts covered in this section — Botany and Zoology. Also, biology section has 90 questions, 45 each in zoology and botany. In addition to that, every year questions in NEET Biology section are always on the expected lines. Last year a major fraction of questions were from class 11.
This year we have the following analysis for NEET 2018 Biology:
Percentage of Class 11 and Class 12 Questions: There were 46 questions asked from the 12th standard syllabus and 44 questions from the 11th standard syllabus.
Difficulty Level of Biology Part: This section had 9 difficult questions, 33 moderate questions and 448 easy questions. However, this section was easier than last year and had a very few application based question. Most of the questions were directly from NCERT and were concept based.
Biology was the easiest paper among the three. According to the students, the question paper was similar to the expectations. There were no surprises. All the questions were asked as per the prescribed syllabus of CBSE and were from NCERT books.
Maximum Questions: Zoology had the maximum number of questions.

Biology was the easiest section amongst the three. However, this section was lengthy. There were 46 questions asked from the 12th standard syllabus and 44 questions from the 11th standard syllabus. This section had 9 difficult questions, 33 moderate questions and 448 easy questions. However, this section was easier than last year and had a very few application based question. Most of the questions were directly from NCERT and were concept based.

NEET 2018 Paper Analysis of Biology by Resonance
Resonance experts also verified that most of the questions were from class 12 last year. As per them, 28 questions were from class 11. Whereas, from class 12 there were 22 questions. According to them, Zoology section was more difficult than the botany section. Also, they said that botany had 50 questions and zoology had 40 questions. Out of they zoology had 15 difficult questions and botany had 14 difficult ones.
Also last year in botany most of the questions were from Molecular Basis of Inheritance, ecology and plant Kingdom, said Resonance experts. They also said that in zoology most of the questions were from Human Physiology.

NEET 2018 Paper Analysis of Biology by Allen Kota
Last year Allen Kota analysed that in NEET biology section was quite easy. In botany, 53% questions were from class 12 and 47% from class 11. As per them. most of the questions were from Genetics and Bio-Technology.
Whereas for zoology part, Allen Kota experts said that it was on the difficult side. There were 67% questions from class 11 and only 33% questions from class 12. Also last year as per the Allen experts 50% of the zoology questions were from Human Physiology.
