From the academic year 2016-17, MAMC has started one very important scholarship scheme known as the Maulana Azad Student Scholarship Scheme (MASSS).
About the scheme: This scholarship is tailor-made for the eligible candidates from the economically weaker background.
Eligibility for this scheme includes:
- Only first-year MBBS students are eligible.
- Students whose parents’ collective income annually is less than 1 lakh rupees are awarded MASSS.
- Students will have to produce the following documents as proof to get MASSS:
- Income Certificate
- Current passbook details.
Duration of the scholarship: The students who will be awarded MASSS will be able to use it for 4.5 years.

Maulana Azad Medical College Placements
No hospitals visit the college separately for placements. However, the college has its own hospitals, where the aspirants can apply for vacancies.
- The MBBS course in the college comprises of 1-year internship after 4 and a half years of study.
- The stipend during an internship is Rs. 12,500 at MAMC.
