JIPMER PG 2019 Online Registration – The Online Registration for JIMPER 2019 can only be done through online mode. Any other mode is not applicable. It is important to read the prospectus and instructions before applying for JIPMER so that no confusions are there. The candidate should have all the required documents with regard to filling up the application online. The Application fee for admission to JIPMER 2019 PG courses can only be paid through online modes such as Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card and no other mode of payment will be acceptable.
JIPMER PG 2019 Admit Card – JIMPER PG 2019 Admit Card for entrance exam will be available only after successful payment of the Application Form before the due date. The Admit Card will be available online to the candidates on the official website. Details such as Name and Date of Birth as mentioned by the candidate while filling the Application form will be present on the Admit Card. Along with photograph and signature as uploaded by the candidate and the Examination City with Roll Number will be mentioned there. Any request for Rectification or change in relation to the Examination Center, City or any other detail in the Admit Card will not be entertained. Without Admit Card and ID proof in original and photocopies candidate will not be allowed to appear for the Entrance Examination.

JIPMER PG 2019 Entrance Examination – The JIPMER 2019 Entrance Examination shall be conducted online through Computer Based Test (CBT) only. It will be common to all with 250 single best response type MCQs which will contain four alternatives for each question with one correct answer. The entrance exam will be conducted for a duration of three hours. The exam will be conducted in English medium only. And shall be conducted in a single shift. Information such as venue, time and date will be mentioned for candidates in the Admit Card itself.
The distribution of 250 Questions for subjects will be:
- 100 Questions for Basic Clinical Sciences (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology,
Pharmacology, Microbiology and Forensic Medicine & Toxicology)
- 150 Questions for Clinical Sciences (Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Community Medicine, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT, Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Radio-diagnosis, Radiotherapy, Emergency Medicine, Nuclear Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Blood Transfusion Medicine).
JIPMER PG 2019 Merit List – JIPMER 2019 Merit List for PG courses will be based on Percentile scored in the entrance examination. Any candidate who scores less than the minimum percentile required will not be considered for admission and will not be included in the Merit List. Percentile score will be according to the category to which the candidate belongs-
- For Unreserved (UR)/Inst/OCI/FN/Sponsored minimum Percentile required is 50%
- For Unreserved (UR) – OPH minimum Percentile required is 45%
- For SC / ST / OBC /- OPH minimum Percentile required is 40%
JIPMER PG 2019 Counseling – The List of candidates for counseling who qualify needs to report to the specified venue, date and time. There will be a Biometric fingerprint and image verification of the candidates in the day of counseling. In case of a mismatch, the candidate will not be allowed to attend the counseling along with a legal action against him/her.
It is important to note that the Original Certificates submitted by the candidate will be retained in the Academic Section and returned only after the candidate completes the course or if relieved midway for any reason. All the candidates must be physically present on the day of counseling any failure in doing so will cut the chances of admission. Production of all original certificates is mandatory. The candidate has to produce either Original or Bonafide certificates at the time of counseling otherwise will not be allowed to participate in counseling. In case of Bonafide certificate the candidate has to submit original certificate within five working days or else the seat automatically stands canceled.
Any discrepancy in the caste certificate will be subject to cancellation of registration
even after admission to the course. The name, designation and the seal of the officer should be legible in the certificate. Certificate from any other person or authority will not be accepted.
JIPMER PG 2019 Results – All the results from Percentile Score to the Counseling Results of the individuals will be available on the JIPMER website jipmer.puducherry.gov.in. A medical examination will be conducted of the candidates before the stipulated date given in the letter of selection. The candidate’s selected need to pay the requisite fee of Rs.15,960/- those who fail to do so by the specified date will be treated as canceled.
