Essential Documents To Keep Ready For JIPMER MBBS 2018 Application Form

Before that you proceed to fill up the application, you should keep the following items/ documents ready which will help you fill up correct details in JIPMER MBBS Application Form.

  1. Soft/scanned copies of your Photo, Signature and Caste Certificate (if applicable)

How To Fill JIPMER MBBS 2018 Application Form?

Step 1: Registration

  1. Firstly, click on the link which is given above to apply for JIPMER MBBS 2018 entrance exam.
  2. Read the instruction note carefully.
  3. Now, enter the registration details such as your Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Email ID.
  4. Click on the ‘Register’ button to submit the details. 
  5. On submitting the details, you will receive a User ID and a login link is sent to your Email ID. 

Step 2: Login

  1. Click on the login link which has been sent to your email id and enter your USer ID and Password.
  2. Submit the details by clicking on ‘Login’ button. 

Step 3: Fill in details in the Application Form 

  1. After that you logged in, you can proceed to fill up details in the JIPMER MBBS 2018 Application Form.
  2. Next, you have to enter the following details in the application form:
    • Personal Details: In this section, you need to enter your Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Gender, Nationality, Specify the Category, Specify if you are a resident of Pudicherry.
    • Educational Qualification Details: Enter the details of Class 12th examination such as its Status (whether passed/ appearing), Subject studied, Name of the School/ Institute, City and Board, Year of Passing.
    • Other Details: In this section, you have to enter the Educational Background, Occupation and Annual Income of the Parents/ Guardian. 
    • Address Details: In this, you have to enter your complete address details along with State, City, Pin Code, etc. 
    • ID Proof Details: Choose one of the appropriate ID proof and enter its relevant detail.
    • Exam Details: In this section, you need to select at least 03 test centre preference  
  3. Upload Images: After entering all the details, you need to upload scanned images of your Photograph and Signature. The images to be uploaded should be in jpg or jpeg format and the file size should be maximum 80KB
  4. On entering all the above details, you can submit the application form by clicking on ‘Submit’ button and pay the amount of the registration fees.
  5. Finally, on completion of the above-given steps, you should take a print out of the completed application form and keep it to yourself for future reference.

Q. For the Photograph, is it necessary that in the photo I should upload the placard? Can I print the detail on the bottom of the photo?

A. The photograph and signature should be uploaded as per the format and specifications. The photo to be uploaded should be taken on or after January 31, 2018. Your name and date of clicking the photo should be clearly visible on the placard.

Q. Can I upload Black and White Photograph?

A. No, you have to upload passport size coloured photograph only.

Q. Do I need to upload any other image in the JIPMER MBBS 2018 Application Form?

A. Yes, if you are availing the benefit under reservation category, then you have to upload the necessary category certificates along with the scanned image of your photo and signature.

Q. What is OPH Form?

A. Those candidates with disability of lower limbs between 50% to 70% shall be considered and in case such candidates are not available then candidates with disability of lower limbs between 40% to 50% will also be considered for admission. Such candidates need to upload disability certificate which should be certified by duly constituted and authorized Medical Board of the State or Central Govt. Hospitals/ Institutions.

Q. The email id which I entered at the time of registration was just random. How can I change my email id now in JIPMER MBBS Application Form?

A. The email id once submitted by you at the time of registration is final and cannot be changed.

Q. I have submitted the form but I realised that I have chosen incorrect board of the qualifying exmaination. How can I make correction in it now?

A. Once the form has been submitted you can not change any details in it. However, if there is sme error or mistake in the application form, you can make new registration, fill the form and pay the fee again. The previous form will stand cancelled automatically.

  1. i uploaded my scaned community certificate after all the process i download my application pdf but in the applied form they didn’t refeared my community certificate entry number or caste number why?

  2. The photograph must be taken with a placard while the placard is being held by the
    candidate indicating name of candidate and date of taking photograph. In case name and date
    are written on the photograph after taking it, the application will be rejected.

    should I hold placard during clicking photo?
    or should i print name and date at the bottom of photo?
