FDGST 2019: Foreign Dental Graduate Screening Test

FDGST 2019 – National Board of Examinations (NBE) releases notfication regarding Foreign Dental Graduate Screening Test 2019, (FDGST). The registered candidates are issued FDGST 2019 Admit Card online by visitig the official website, FDGST 2019 is scheduled to be held on September 01, 2019. Candidates who appear in FDGST will have to qualify two papers i.e paper 1 & paper 2. Both papers are conducted in online mode on the same day one after other. FDGST 2019

FDGST is conducted for graduates who have completed their Dental graduation from abroad and wish to practise in India. Check below some important dates related to FDGST 2019.

FDGST 2019 Admit Card

Admit card for FDGST 2019 will be available on from 21st of Aug 2019. Admit cards will only be issued to eligible candidates and the candidates can download the same form the website using their login Id and Password. Candidates must bring the printed copy of their admit card with a photo pasted on it and a valid, original and non-expired photo Id proof with them to the exam centre.

  • Aadhaar Card (with the photograph)

FDGST 2019 Exam Center

Candidates have to choose their test city while filling the application form. Candidates have to be careful while choosing the test city because after the submission of application form test centres cannot be changed. The exam centres will be in Delhi only. Candidates will be informed about the exam center through the admit card only. Candidates have to reach the exam centre one hour before the stipulated time.

FDGST 2019 Result

The result for FDGST 2019 will be on available on NBE website. The result will be in form of Pass/Fail. Dates for download of an authentic copy of the result will be displayed on NBE website at the time of declaration of the result. Candidates have to score at least 50% individually in both papers to qualify the screening test and to be eligible for viva – voce exam. The results fo the screening test will be declared by 15th Sep 2019.

FDGST 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. Check below the eligibility criteria to appear for FDGST 2019.

  • Candidate should be an Indian citizen or Overseas citizen of India/ Person of Indian origin.
  • Candidate should have a primary dental qualification from a recognized institution.

FDGST 2019 Application Form

The application form is released in online mode. Candidates should follow the instructions mentioned in the prospectus while filling the application form. If there is any correction in the application form the authority will communicate the same to the candidate within 15 days of the close of the registration window. After that candidates can rectify the mistakes within one week and also necessary documents if required. Candidates also have to submit an application fee before the final submission of the application form.

Steps in online submission of FDGST 2019 online application form

  • Fill the registration form.
  • A user Id and password will be sent through email or mobile number
  • Fill the online form and upload the signature and photograph.
  • Choose the test city and submit the application fees as well.
  • Upload the necessary documents
  • Take a print out of the form and save it for future reference.

National Board of Examination is an autonomous body under the Government of India and Ministry of Health and Family welfare formed in 1975 at New Delhi. NBE conducts the maximum number of examinations in the field of medicine in India and also at a global level.

Ques 1. Is it compulsory to score 50% in the screening test to be eligible for viva-voce?

Ans. Yes, it is compulsory to score 50% individually in both the papers to be eligible for the viva-voce exam.

Ques 2. Will the test be conducted in all states of India?

Ans. No, the test shall be conducted in New Delhi only.

Ques 3. Can I bring a copy of e-aadhaar card at the exam centre?

Ans. Yes, you can bring a copy of e-Aadhaar at the exam center. But the Aadhaar number should be clearly visible and the name printed on the admit card should match with Aadhaar card.
