Who are all eligible to apply?
DNB PDCET 2018 exam is for those students who want to sit for the post-diploma DNB Courses. The application process for the same has started. Those who wish to apply for this exam must check the important points related to the eligibility for appearing in the exam. Check the criteria below:
- The candidates who wish to apply for this exam must be having a Postgraduate Diploma from the Indian Universities. The University from where the candidate is passing must be duly recognized as per the provisions which have been set by the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956.
- Those who are applying for DNB PDCET 2018 must be registered with Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council. It is necessary to do so. The related documents as proof will have to be produced by the candidate at the time of the counselling.

If the above is not available, they should submit any document which will give the proof of duration for which the candidate has done the post-diploma training. In any of the cases, it is compulsory that the candidate submits the documents before the given time. If the candidate does not do so, they will not be allowed to appear for DNB PDCET 2018 Exam.
Who is not eligible to apply?
NBE has given some conditions for all those who cannot apply for this exam. If the candidate comes under these, they are not eligible to apply and thus cannot sit for the DNB PDCET 2018. Candidates are advised that they read these and check that whether they are coming under these or not:
Those who are already pursuing DNB course are not eligible to appear for the exam. They will have to first complete the duration of the course which they have been studying. Also, those who have joined DNB (Post Diploma) course in or after January session are not eligible to appear in this session.
Whatever be the case, they should check these criteria very carefully and then apply for this exam. This is so because if the authorities find that the candidate does not satisfy any of the criteria will not be allowed to write the exam. Their application may get rejected even if the results have been declared.
