DNB CET SS 2020 – The DNB-CET SS will be conducted by NBE at test centers engaged for the purpose. Candidates’ eligibility is purely provisional & is subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria as prescribed by the NBE to appear in the test. The application form for the examination will be issued on the NBE website. The candidates could only access it online from the official website. In order to submit the form, it was first needed to register. You entered the following information during registration:
After the registration, the candidates got Candidate ID and Password. You can login by submitting the ID and Password at any time. After login is open enter Education Details, Pay Fee, Choose Exam City, and Upload Images.
The admit card of DNB Superspeciality entrance exam will state the details about the candidate, exam, and the center allocated by the Board. NBE will send the admit card at the candidate’s registered e-mail id, approximately 4 days before the examination. You will receive intimation regarding the issuance of the admit card will through SMS and public notice. The candidates need to download the admit card and affix a passport size photograph on it. The photograph must be identical to the one uploaded in the application form.

NBE will prepare one question paper each for Super Specialties in Medical, Surgical, Pediatric, and Super Specialties for MD/DNB Anesthesiology. The detailed exam pattern of DNB CET SS 2020 is as mentioned below:

Exam Duration: 3 hours
Number of Questions: 180 questions
Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions
Total Marks: 720 marks
Marking Scheme: Each question will carry 4 marks. There shall be 25% negative marking for incorrect answers. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.
The question paper will consist of the questions for the admission to the following Specialties.:
Medical Genetics: Candidates with MD/DNB qualification in General Medicine or Pediatrics who are desirous of pursuing DNB Medical Genetics will have to attempt 30 extra questions pertaining to Medical Genetics in addition to 180 questions in General Medicine or Pediatrics respectively *.
*DNB-CETSS for Medical and Pediatric Super Specialties will be a two-section test with both the sections separately timed. The first sectioncomprising of 180 multiple- choice questions (MCQs) with single correct response is mandatory for all candidates. The total duration of the first section is 180 minutes. The second section comprising of 30 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) Medical Genetics is for those candidates ONLY who wish to pursue DNB- Medical Genetics. The total duration of the second section is 30 minutes
The candidates have to choose the center choice while filling the application form. We advise that the candidates choose the exam city wisely because the provision to change it will not be provided by NBE. The exam center list for DNB CET SS 2020 is not released yet. All candidates appearing in the exam shall be given a merit position based on the marks obtained by them. The validity of the result of the DNB-CETSS shall be only for the current admission session and cannot be carried forward for the next session of DNB-CETSS. The mark sheet-cum-result certificate for the DNB-CETSS examination can be downloaded from NBE website http://www.nbe.edu.in after the
declaration of result.
There is no provision for re-checking or re-totaling or re-evaluation of the question paper, answers, marks and no query in this regard will be entertained.
As per previous year information, in the event of two or more candidates obtaining the same marks, the merit position shall be determined by the following criteria:

The counselling of DNB CET Superspeciality will be on the merit-cum-choice basis. There shall be three rounds of counselling and in each, there will be seat allocation on the basis of merit and preference. NBE will announce the schedule of counselling after the declaration of result. The qualified candidates will have to remit the counselling fee. NBE will conduct Group-specific merit-based counselling.
Candidate has to be present in person on the day of his/her counseling to participate in the counseling for opting for a confirmed seat at scheduled time specified in his/her Rank Letter. Authorized representative on behalf of candidate shall be permitted only after due approval of NBE in exceptional circumstances only at the sole discretion of NBE.

Candidates who are in possession of postgraduate medical degrees/ Provisional Pass Certificates by in eligible specialities and their medical qualifications are recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 or DNB qualifications may apply for DNB-CETSS through online application. Candidates should have completed his/her 3 years (36 Months) of MD/ MS training.
