DNB CET 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Those who want to fill the application form of DNB CET 2018 will have to first check the eligibility criteria of it. It is necessary that the candidate first checks the criteria. It is so because if they do not check the eligibility criteria and fill the application form, at later stages, their application will be rejected or cancelled.
Education: The candidate who wants to apply for DNB CET 2018 exam should have MBBS degree or recognized Provisional Pass Certificate. They must possess permanent / provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the official authorities.
Internship: Those have completed one year of internship or are likely to complete on or before 31st August 2018 can apply for DNB-CET examination through the online application.
DNB CET 2018 Application Form

DNB CET 2018 Application Form Last date: The last date to fill the application form for DNB CET 2018 is 31 May 2018.
Fee: Along with the application form, payment of fee is also necessary. This fee is as per NBE. Without paying the application fee, the candidate’s application process will not be over and hence would not be able to sit for the exam. Candidates have to pay application fee of Rs 4500. Payment modes available are Credit Card, Debit Card, net banking.
Note: This application fees for DNB CET 2018 is not refundable even if in case of rejection of application form of candidate due to any reasons.
DNB CET 2018 Notification
DNB CET 2018 Reservation
Reservations will be provided to the candidates belonging Scheduled Castes (SC), Schedule Tribes (ST), Persons With Disabilities (PWD) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) at a particular college or institute as per their rules. It is applicable at the time of counselling process.
Those who want to claim the seats under the reserved category will have to produce the certificate issued by competent authority in respect of SC/ST. Aspirants who are applying under PWD category will have to prove themselves certified for the same. For certification, visit any one disability assessment board:

DNB CET 2018 Admit Card
DNB CET 2018 admit card is a crucial document which they should keep carefully with them. It is likely to be sent to the E-Mail ids of all those candidates who completed the application process successfully along with the payment before the last date. The admit card will be sent approximately 7 days before the main exam is conducted.
On the DNB CET 2018 Admit card, space to paste the passport sized photo of the candidate has been given. They will have to stick their photo in the space. Before pasting it, they should check the requirements that have been mentioned for it.
Along with the admit card, there are some other important documents as well which the aspirants have to bring to the exam hall. Those who report to the exam hall without the admit card or the other mentioned documents will not be allowed to enter the exam hall under any circumstances. Hence it is crucial that the aspirants do not forget to bring the DNB CET 2018 Admit Card.
DNB CET 2018 Demo Test
Candidates who will register and complete the application process before the last date will be able to access a demo test for the same. It will be provided by NBE to familiarise the students of the pattern of the computer-based test.
The DNB CET 2018 Demo test will be available on the official website nbe.edu.in. They can access the test through the link as well which will be provided on this page. It will be available from June 15, 2018. Aspirants of this exam are advised that they practice this test to make themselves comfortable with the test pattern.
DNB CET 2018 Examination Pattern
The DNB CET 2018 Exam is scheduled for 29 June 2018.
Mode: It will be an online Computer Based Test (CBT).
Questions and Time: The questions will be Multiple Choice Questions in nature. Candidate will get a total of 3.5 hours to attempt 300 MCQ questions.
The paper will contain 2 parts- Part A and Part B. Both will have an equal number of questions i.e. 150 in each part. The questions will be from the syllabus as mentioned by Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by Medical Council of India.
Marking scheme: For every correct answer, the candidate will be awarded 4 marks and for the wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted. No marks will be cut for the unattempted questions. Candidates must ensure that they mark the answer carefully as negative marking is there in the exam.
DNB CET 2018 Distribution of Questions

Candidates can use this distribution of questions in different subjects to prepare accordingly for DNB CET 2018.
DNB CET 2018 Result
The result of DNB CET 2018 will be declared by 31 Jul 2018. It will be available on the official website of NBE. The students will be considered as qualified if they clear the minimum percentile which is set by NBE. The minimum cutoff percentile for different categories is as follows:
- General – 50th percentile
- SC/ST/OBC – 40th percentile
- PWD – 45th percentile
DNB CET 2018 result will be in the form of a mark sheet. The mark sheet is also known as result certificate. The candidates who have given the DNB CET 2018 Admit Card will be able to download DNB CET 2018 Result from the official website. This result will be valid for only this session i.e July 2018 session. It will not be valid for the next session.
Note: Aspirants must note that there is no provision of re-checking / re-totalling /re-evaluation of the question paper, answers or score. Hence no query in this regard of the candidates will be entertained or considered by the authorities.
DNB CET 2018 Counselling
DNB CET 2018 counselling will be done for all the qualified candidates for this exam. Qualified means that the aspirant has scored the minimum or more than the minimum percentile in the main exam. Apart from clearing the exam, candidate should fulfil the eligibility criteria as well.
The counselling will be done purely on the basis of merit cum choice basis. An Indicative list of DNB seats shall be available at NBE website. The final list of seats available shall be notified at NBE website prior to the start of counselling.
