24 July 2018: Due to Maharashtra Band on 24/07/2018, Document Verification Process (Phase –II) is extended at all centers (Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Nanded, Osmanabad) up to 25/07/2018 till 05.00 pm. 14 Jun 2018: DMER has changed the eligibility criteria. As mentioned in Information Brochure of NEET-UG-2018 for admission to State Quota in Health Sciences Courses in the State of Maharashtra the eligibilities are mentioned in Rule No. 4.2.4.5 & 4.6 as under-

“The student must be domiciled in the State of Maharashtra and must have passed the SSC and HSC examination from an Institution situated in the State of Maharashtra.”

Hon’ble High Court, Bombay. Bench at Nagpur directed in interim order dated 11/06/2018 in Writ Petition No.3164/2018 & Others as under-

“The Candidate who have passed SSC or equivalent examination from an Institution situated outside the State of Maharashtra is also eligible subject to final decision in said petition, provided he/she has passed HSC or qualifying examination from an Institution situated in the State of Maharashtra and also possess Domicile Certificate of the State of Maharashtra.”

All such candidates who become eligible as per Hon’ble High Court order and could not fill online registration form till 12/06/2018 of NEET-UG-2018 for Maharashtra State Quota can register online from 13/06/2018 to 17/06/2018.

    Then is it required to register on mcc site also
    N why both registration are having different schedules

    • DMER Maharashtra PG Medical Admission 2018 will be conducted by the Commissioner, State CET Cell, Mumbai. The candidates will be shortlisted for admission in 50% State Quota Seats on the basis of NEET PG 2018 score. MCC possess 50% seats for the counselling and the rest of 50% seats are possessed by DMER Maharashtra.
      MBBS/ BDS Counselling NEET 2018 Mcc.nic.in 15% AIQ Counselling. The candidate willing to apply for 15% ALL INDIA MBBS/ BDS Seats can registration online ROUND-1 MCC Counselling form from 13 June 2018.

  4. Sir, during filling the online registration i by mistakly selected yes for OCI/PIO candidate and submitted it and also selected 4.8 for claim exemption under rule of brochure which I should not have selected instead I have done none.
    So sir can I know that we can change it or it will really don’t create problems

    • if you haven’t edited your application for once after the submission of the form you can edit your form for only one last time.

    • yes your form is going to be accepted but you need to show the domicile certificate at the time of document verification.

  7. My domiciled state is maharashtra…….i have rank above 1,75,000…….so what about my document verification……i have open category

The time table given on the DMER website states that rank ST students who have rank lying between 175000 to 750000 have to go for document verification…….so what about the general category students having rank above 175000…..we have our names in provisional list but nothing is mentioned in the time slot for doc.     • if you’d locked your seat in first round of counselling then you cannot apply for 2 round of counselling, but if you haven’t locked the seat in that college then you can apply for 2 round of counselling.
