14 Jun 2018: DMER has changed the eligibility criteria. As mentioned in Information Brochure of NEET-UG-2018 for admission to State Quota in Health Sciences Courses in the State of Maharashtra the eligibilities are mentioned in Rule No. 4.2.4.5 & 4.6 as under-

“The student must be domiciled in the State of Maharashtra and must have passed the SSC and HSC examination from an Institution situated in the State of Maharashtra.”

Hon’ble High Court, Bombay. Bench at Nagpur directed in interim order dated 11/06/2018 in Writ Petition No.3164/2018 & Others as under-

“The Candidate who have passed SSC or equivalent examination from an Institution situated outside the State of Maharashtra is also eligible subject to final decision in said petition, provided he/she has passed HSC or qualifying examination from an Institution situated in the State of Maharashtra and also possess Domicile Certificate of the State of Maharashtra.”

All such candidates who become eligible as per Hon’ble High Court order and could not fill online registration form till 12/06/2018 of NEET-UG-2018 for Maharashtra State Quota can register online from 13/06/2018 to 17/06/2018.

Maharashtra NEET 2018 Cutoff

The most important thing which the candidate has to do is to check the cutoffs for all the medical colleges of Maharashtra when the official authority releases it. The candidate will be eligible for the counselling process only if they have the minimum cutoff marks or more in the NEET 2018 Exam.

    Then is it required to register on mcc site also
    N why both registration are having different schedules

    • DMER Maharashtra PG Medical Admission 2018 will be conducted by the Commissioner, State CET Cell, Mumbai. The candidates will be shortlisted for admission in 50% State Quota Seats on the basis of NEET PG 2018 score. MCC possess 50% seats for the counselling and the rest of 50% seats are possessed by DMER Maharashtra.
      MBBS/ BDS Counselling NEET 2018 Mcc.nic.in 15% AIQ Counselling. The candidate willing to apply for 15% ALL INDIA MBBS/ BDS Seats can registration online ROUND-1 MCC Counselling form from 13 June 2018.

  4. Sir, during filling the online registration i by mistakly selected yes for OCI/PIO candidate and submitted it and also selected 4.8 for claim exemption under rule of brochure which I should not have selected instead I have done none.
    So sir can I know that we can change it or it will really don’t create problems

    • if you haven’t edited your application for once after the submission of the form you can edit your form for only one last time.
