Qualification: Applicants must have completed MBBS degree or BDS degree to apply for MD/MS or MDS, respectively. The degree must be obtained from the college or institute which has recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or Dental Council of India (DCI).
- You should have completed a compulsory rotatory internship programme and have a valid certificate stating the same on or before July 2019.
- You must have obtained the minimum aggregate marks in MBBS/ BDS Examination.

AIIMS PG 2020 July Application Form
Candidates have to register yourself on the exam portal of AIIMS, to appear for the entrance exam. To register as new applicant, you will required to enter the all personal as well as educational details with valid Id proof Information . Thereafter, applicants will be asked to provided valid email Id, mobile number and postal contact address. This is mandatory as you receive candidates login Id and password on it. AIIMS PG 2020 July Exam Pattern and Syllabus
AIIMS PG 2020 July exam pattern will be will be one paper which is going to be conducted for admission in AIIMS.
For applicants willing to get admission in MD/MS courses has to attempt the paper of 200 marks. On the other hand, candidates opting for MDS will be required to appear for the paper of maximum marks 90. Paper for both the courses will be of objective type (MCQ). This details of exam pattern is based on the previous year.
For every correct answer, you will be awarded 1 mark and negative marking of ⅓ will be done from the total score for every wrong answer marked.

AIIMS PG 2020 July syllabus will be on the basis of subjects that you have studied in qualifying exam. If you are appearing for MD/MS entrance test, you have to attempt the questions from the subjects study in MBBS. AIIMS PG 2020 July Cut Off
The minimum requirement to be eligible for admission in 7 AIIMS is that the candidates should be among 50th percentiles. This has been decided by the Governing Body, AIIMS on September 14, 2013.
The percentile for the examination will be decided on the basis of maximum marks scored by a candidate in the paper. The percentile score is generally converted up to 3 decimal places to reduce ties. Anyhow, if there is still a tie then it is resolved with the following method:
- The applicant who has higher aggregate marks in the qualifying exam will be preferred over the one with lower aggregate marks.
- If the aggregate marks are also the same, then the candidate older in age is preferred over the younger age.
AIIMS PG 2020 July Merit List
On the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in entrance exam, merit list will be prepared based on it. The rank of the candidates will be decided considering the percentile score and after resolving the ties if any do so. Those candidates name appears in the merit list will be called for counseling process. The admission will be granted on the basis of merit-cum-choice.
How to Resolve Tie
If there would be any tie-breaking situation, then the candidates will be selected according to terms are:
- Higher Percentage Marks in MBBS/BDS Professional Examination. The candidate have higher marks will get the higher rank.
- If the candidates will get equal marks in professional exam, then the tie will be broken according to the date of birth. The older candidate will get preference for a younger candidate.
AIIMS PG 2020 July Counseling
AIIMS PG 2020 July counselling will be held on as per schedule. After the announcement of result the qualified candidates appearing for the online PG counseling round needs to exercise their choices as provided to them. The link to set preference will be provided the on the My page of the website. The following important instruction for the counselling process is given below:
- The link to set preference will be provided on the MyPage of the website.
- After clicking the link, an applicant will be redirected to a new page where they have to register for online counseling and set a password.
- Once logged in, the candidate can participate in the process of choice making.
- He/she first have to select the seats on which they want to get admission and then lock it.
- After locking, they must take a print out of selected choices for future reference.
The final seat allotment will be done on the basis of choice made by the candidate and the rank in the merit list. The allotment of seats will be done for AIIMS, New Delhi and six other AIIMS colleges across the country.
The mock allocation of seats will be done and the list will be displayed on the website. Again the portal for choice re-shuffling will open for all the eligible candidates. The first round of allocation will be done on the basis of choices frozen after the mock allocation. The final allocation list for the first round will be displayed on the website.
After the allotment of seat, a candidate has to deposit original certificate and the attested copies along with demand draft of the amount specified. If a candidate doesn’t want to get admission to the allotted seat, must refuse the seat by logging into the account. Also, he/ she will be required to deposit the original documents and demand draft to participate in further rounds of counseling.
