AIIMS PG 2019 Marking Scheme
AIIMS PG 2019 results will be declared for those candidates who qualify the exam for the same. AIIMS PG 2019 Cut Off
The exam conducting body has defined a minimum cutoff score for all the appearing candidates in order to qualify for AIIMS PG 2019. For the better understanding of AIIMS PG result, candidates must know the minimum cut off marks in the entrance examination. In accordance with the concerned body, AIIMS has set the minimum cut off marks to the 50th percentile. The minimum percentile is necessary to determine candidate’s eligibility for admission in session 2019.
AIIMS PG 2019 Result – Percentile Scores
AIIMS PG 2019 aspirants must know that percentile scores under AIIMS PG 2019 result will be scores based on the relative performance of all those who will appear for the said entrance examination. To say, percentile score will tell how many candidates have scored marks equal to or below their respective obtained marks.
For example, if a candidate has scored 90% in the examination, it will mean that 90% of total candidates must have scored marks equal to or below than the concerned candidate’s marks. Similarly, 10% of candidates must have scored marks more than the concerned candidates obtained marks.
AIIMS PG 2019 Result – How to Break a Tie?
Since we know, overall merit or ranking will be based on the Percentile scores, there might arise a case wherein the percentile of two candidates will clash. Thus, under such circumstances, methods for breaking the tie will be adopted by AIIMS New Delhi.
AIIMS PG 2019 resolving of the tie will work as follow:
Based on scores: Candidate having higher aggregate marks in all the MBBS / BDS professional examination will get preference over candidate having lower marks.
Based on Date of Birth: In case, a tie still persists, then the older candidate will get preference over the younger one.
AIIMS PG 2019 Merit List
The conducting body post calculating and considering the qualified candidate’s percentile scores and tiebreakers will release AIIMS PG 2019 final merit list on the official website. AIIMS PG 2019 merit list will be prepared in form of merit order; candidates with higher merit order will be placed above the candidates who will relatively have a lower merit order. Following it, suitable candidates will be called in for AIIMS PG 2019 counselling on the dates to be allotted by AIIMS, New Delhi.
AIIMS PG 2019 Counselling
Once the final merit list for AIIMS PG 2019 result is declared, qualified candidates will be issued couneselling call letter. The candidates willing to appear for AIIMS PG 2019 counselling, in order of merit, will exercise their choice of subject according to availability of seats. Candidates will have to attend the counseling for the seat allocation. Counseling dates will be notified to the qualifiers on the official website. There is usually three to four rounds of counseling depending upon the number of seats available for admission. For the January session, counseling shall be done in the month of December. Similarly, for the July session, it will conduct in the month of May.
