AIIMS PG 2018 Exam Pattern covers the nature of test, type of paper, number of questions, total marks, qualifying marks, negative marking, Duration, subjects and shift. The paper will be in the English medium only. The exam pattern for both the courses is discussed below. To qualify the examination, the entrants must score at least 50% marks out of the total marks. The marks will be given according to the performance of the candidate in the Computer Based Test.

AIIMS PG 2018 Exam Pattern

The entrance examination of AIIMS PG 2018 will be held in following the given pattern that is mentioned below in the table. Candidates should note that there will be negative marking which means for every wrong answer Minus one-third (−)⅓ marks will be deducted and for every right answer 1 mark will be awarded.

Subjects for AIIMS PG 2018

As per the syllabus notified by the institute, it mainly consists of the topics from Clinical, pre- clinical and paraclinical subjects. The subjects in the syllabus are according to the MBBS and BDS courses

In the examination all the questions will be asked according to the subjects studied in MBBS or BDS, whichever is applicable. The questions will be based on  Clinical, pre- clinical and paraclinical subjects. After the successful commencement of examination, result will be released. The AIIMS PG 2018 result is expected to be released on 18 November 2018. It will only be published on the official website of AIIMS at aiimsexams.org. The candidates who will qualify in the computer based test will be called for counselling rounds on the basis of the marks obtained in the examination. The counselling will most probably be held in the first week of December 2017.

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) every year conducts an entrance examination for Postgraduate courses such as MS/ MCh(6yrs)/ DM(6yrs) and MD (Hospital Administration). The institute has released the dates for the AIIMS PG January Session 2018. The online portal on the official website of AIIMS at aiimsexams.org has been opened for the interested and eligible candidates. The online applications for the examination will be submitted till 16th November 2017.

The selection of the candidate for the January 2018 session will be done on the basis of an entrance examination i.e., computer based test (CBT). The entrance examination will be is scheduled to be conducted on 12th November 2017. The test will be based on an prescribed exam pattern which is prepared by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. The exam shall contain the questions from MBBS or BDS course. The exam pattern defines the structure of the paper which helps the student to prepare strategically for the examination. The entrance examination for AIIMS PG is going to be held on 12th November 2017. The test will be conducted at the examination centers which will be allotted to the candidates.
