AIIMS 2020 Exam Pattern

There will be in total 200 questions in the AIIMS 2020 Paper. These will be distributed across 5 sections which are as follows:

AIIMS 2020 Eligibility Criteria
The first important thing which the candidate has to do before filling the application form is to check the eligibility criteria. It is an important thing which the candidates have to ensure that they do before moving to the application section.
Only those candidates who satisfy eligibility criteria will qualify for admission. Check the eligibility criteria for AIIMS which the aspirants have to ensure that they satisfy before filling the application form:
- The aspirant should have attained or must attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on the 31st of December of the year of admission.
- Should have passed the 12th Class under the 10+2 Scheme/ Senior School Certificate
Examination (CBSE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or an equivalent Examination of a
recognized University/ Board of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects.
- The applicants who will be appearing for the exam must have the minimum percentage in the qualifying examination. For General and OBC Candidates, minimum 60% has to be scored by the candidate and for SC/ST/PWBD minimum 50% has to be scored.

AIIMS 2020 Application Process
After the candidate has checked the eligibility criteria, the next thing which they have to do is fill the application form for AIIMS 2020 Exam. It is a necessary step which they have to do before the last date. An application fee also has to be paid as well. Only after the candidate fills the application form, they will be eligible for the further processes.

AIIMS 2020 Admit Card
The AIIMS 2020 admit card is an important document which the candidate must keep safely with them till the counselling process gets over. It will be released for all those students who filled the application form successfully before the last date along with the fee payment.
The admit cards will be uploaded on the official website after the application process gets over. It will be available online only and no student will be sent the admit card by post. Aspirants have to ensure that they download the admit card before the exam and keep it safely till the counselling process gets over.
The admit card will contain all the details about the exam venue and other important details about the candidate. They have to ensure that all the details on the admit card are correct.
AIIMS 2020 Result
The AIIMS 2020 Result shall be declared after the exam has been conducted successfully. It will be uploaded on the official website. Candidates will be able to check their results after entering the login details. AIIMS will also release the result rank and roll number wise as well. Those students who qualify for the exam will be called for the counselling process as per the rank obtained by them in the merit list. The candidates have to secure the minimum cutoff marks in the exam to qualify for the counselling. AIIMS 2020 Tie Breaking Criteria
It might be possible that the two candidates score equal percentile in the AIIMS 2020 Examination. In that case, the merit will be determined as per the tie breaking criteria. Have a look at the tie breaking criteria:
- Candidates obtaining higher in Biology in the Entrance Examination will be given preference over the other candidate
- If the above criteria is not fulfilled, candidate obtaining higher in Chemistry in the Entrance Examination will be given preference.
- The candidate scoring high in Physics will be given preference over the other candidate in case the above condition is not satisfied.
- If none of the above criteria satisfies, the candidate who is older in age will be given preference over the younger candidate.
AIIMS 2020 Counselling Process
