Exam Pattern for AIIMS MBBS 2018

The entrance test for AIIMS MBBS 2018 will be held in two shifts. The first shift will start from 09:00 AM to 12:30 PM and the second shift will be from 03:00 PM to 06:30 PM. The exam will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes. It will consist of 200 MCQ questions and Reason-Assertion type from topics such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General Knowledge, Aptitude and Logical Thinking. The question paper will be in English or Hindi on the basis of the option chosen by the candidate.

Marking Scheme

The marking scheme to follow for MBBS entrance examination is as follows:

  1. For every correct answer, 01 marks will be given.
  2. There is a negative marking of 1/3rd marks for every incorrect answer.
  3. The questions which are left unanswered, no marks will be given neither be deducted in that case.

AIIMS MBBS Syllabus 2018

There is no prescribed syllabus for AIIMS MBBS entrance examination. However, it is specified that the standard of the questions is as per Class 11th and 12th Standard of Science.
